Composites in Design: A History of Creativity and Ingenuity

This is a new JEC publication.

In 2025, linked to the 60th anniversary of JEC World, JEC organized a dedicated exhibition about Composites in design. The brochure shows the evolution of the composites in design over the last 60 yearsup to present time through a variety of real-world products.

JEC would like to thank the Design Museum Brussels for providing major design pieces from their collection, The Plastic Design Collection, Loan Carina Deuschl and Die Neue Sammlung – The Design Museum, Munich and Ignaas Verpoest, Emeritus Professor, Composite Materials Group, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, to document the history of the use of composites in design.
